Artemis Saitakis
Studies in Chemistry (University of Athens) and post graduate studies in Vinology & Biotechnology, Business Administration and MBA (Univ. of Brussels). Director of the Science and Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C). Managing Director, of the "Managing Company of STEP-C" S.A. since 2005. Director (1996-1999), Marketing Director (1999-2000) and Quality Assurance Manager (1999-today) of MINOTECH Biotechnology. Project Manager of the projects: Development of a "Centre of Technology Transfer" at STEP-C (1997-2001) and "Establishing Incubator Facilities" at STEP-C (1997-2000). Project Manager of RITTS Crete Project (1997-2000), consultant to other RIS/RITTS Projects Consultant, Business Incubators and Technology Parks projects in Greece & Europe. Partners of the projects: "Crete Innovative Actions" Programme (CRINNO, 2003-2005), & Crete "Regional Innovation Pole" (2007-2008) with Entrepreneurship & Technology Transfer related pilot actions. Participation in a number of EU funded projects, related with the promotion of Entrepreneurship, Regional Innovation, IPR Management and Technology Transfer. Member of the EURAXESS Network National Contact Point for FP7 (Programme PEOPLE). 4 years of working experience in Industry (Brewing & Wine Industry) Lead auditor, ISO 9000. Over 20 years of experience in Technology Transfer and exploitation, Intellectual Property Management, Entrepreneurship, Regional Development and Innovation. -
George Papamichail
George Papamichail is an Innovation & Technology Transfer Advisor at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) / Science & Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C) since 2004. He has been involved in a number of different national and EU funded RDT projects related to Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Exploitation of Research Outcomes, Technology Transfer (TT) & Intellectual Property management (IP), and Business Incubators. He is a partner of the Hellenic National Contact Point (NCP) for the "PEOPLE" FP7 specific Programme, (Marie Curie Actions) and responsible for the "PEOPLE" FP7 One-Stop Shop information center for S. Greece. He is also member of the Greek Researchers Mobility Centers Network, part of the European Researchers Mobility Network (ERA-MORE), and responsible for the Information Office of FORTH for the region of Crete. He has worked for the Department of Science & Technology at the University of Sussex as a Technology Consultant in a techno-managerial project (work placement). He holds a BA degree in Business Administration form the University of Hertfordshire, and post graduate degrees in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Glasgow and Sussex University (Science Policy Research Unit - SPRU). - Nora Fragiadoulaki
Nora holds a degree in History and Archaeology from the University of Crete and an MA in International and European Studies with a sspecialization in European Management and Politics (Jean Monnet Programme) from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens. From 1998 - 2000 she worked as a secretary at the political office of a Member of the Greek Parliament. From March 2004-until October 2005 she worked as a scientific advisor of a Member of the Greek Parliament. Also, she has been working for ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) as an assistant to the Human Resources and Budget Liaison Officer, from October 2005 - February 2006. Presently she works for the Science and Technology Park of Crete as a Secretary. She speaks and writes Greek, English and Italian fluently.
- Stephania Santsez
Stephania Santsez joined the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) / Science and Technology Park - Crete (STEP-C) in November 2008. Her main responsibilities include providing business support services for STEP-C’s tenants. Furthermore, she is also offering business-consulting services, such as guidance in writing business plans, or marketing plans to the firms operating in the free market. Ms. Sanchez holds a BA of Honours in Business Studies with a major in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the UK Open University. Prior to joining FORTH, she was working as a Competitive Intelligence Strategy & Growth Analyst at Shell International Exploration and Production in Rijswijk, The Netherlands.
