Reach STEPC by car
From downtown Heraklion:
Follow Kalokerinou Street and 62 Martyron Street through town until the intersection of Giofyro. Turn left and follow the signs to the Hospital or to Mires until you reach the intersection for Moires, where you turn right.
Just before you reach the Hospital, turn right following the signs for Voutes village or the signs for FORTH/STEP-C. After passing the Medical School buildings and the Biology and Physics buildings, turn right following the signs for FORTH/ETEP-K. Then turn left to enter the facilities and park in the parking lot to the right.
From Amoudara area:
Follow the main beach road until you reach Giofyro intersection (1). Turn right and follow the directions given in the previous paragraph.
From Airport or Hersonissos area:
Get on the highway. At the third exit after the Airport exit, leave the motorway behind and follow the signs to the Hospital or Fates to the point. After that, follow the same directions given in the first paragraph of this section.

B. Airport – FORTH/STEP-C:
07:15 (except Saturday & Sunday)
C. FORTH/STEP-C (Departure from campus, except Saturday & Sunday):
- Towards Port : 08:00, 9:00, 10:00, 15:00, 18:00
- Towards Airport : 16:00, 17:00, 20:15, 21:45
All buses pass through downtown Heraklion. One-way ticket costs € 1,50 (euro) and can be purchased from most kiosks around the downtown area.
The approximate duration of each route is 40 minutes.
