The Observatory of Innovative Entrepreneurship of the Region of Crete, the Science and Technology Park of Crete, and the European Innovation Hub GR digiGOV-innoHUB are organizing a series of four educational seminars on “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Tools,” aimed at business executives and organizations.
The seminars are aimed at business executives and organizations that would like to utilize artificial intelligence applications and tools.
The series consists of four training seminars, each lasting three hours, covering the following topics:
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence – Practical Applications and Use Cases (Date: Friday, November 28, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- Artificial Intelligence Technologies – Applications in the Agri-Food Sector
- Artificial Intelligence Technologies – Applications in the Environment and Energy Sector.
- Digital Technologies – Tools and Applications for the Modern Organization.
Each seminar will consist of three parts: The first part will present basic concepts of AI in the subject of the seminar, the second part will present practical applications and case studies, and the third part will present relevant opportunities and challenges for the green and digital transition.
The dates for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seminars will be announced after the completion of the 1st seminar.
1st Educational Seminar
“Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Practical Applications and Use Cases”

Seminar objectives:
- Understanding the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in business environments.
- Presentation of practical AI tools that can be used without specialized technical knowledge.
- Analysis of real-life examples of AI use by small businesses in Greece and internationally.
- Promotion of creativity and the development of innovative solutions tailored to the needs of each business.
Structure of the 1st Seminar training modules:
Part 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis
- Basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and their importance for small businesses
- Presentation of Artificial Intelligence algorithms
- Brief introduction to big data management and utilization
Part 2: Presentation of Practical Applications
- Demonstration of Artificial Intelligence tools
- Small business case studies
- Examples of tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Landbot)
Part 3: Application to Business Scenarios
- Adaptation of tools and ideas to the needs of participating companies
Ability to attend in person or via teleconference.
Participants attending in person must have a laptop computer.
Electricity and internet access will be provided by the organisers.
Participation in the seminar is free of charge but requires registration – expression of interest. Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis as the number of participants (in person and remotely) is limited.
