Role Description:
As a Swift Developer at Sky Dynamics EE, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality applications for iOS and macOS platforms. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to deliver intuitive, responsive, and reliable software that enhances the user experience in our aviation-focused applications. Your work will contribute to seamless integration of mobile and desktop applications with our advanced flight simulator technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop robust iOS and macOS applications using Swift.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
– Implement UI/UX designs with a focus on performance and stability.
– Ensure high-quality code by writing unit and integration tests.
– Optimize applications for performance, memory management, and responsiveness.
– Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing quick and efficient solutions.
– Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in code reviews.
– Integrate third-party libraries and APIs as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
– Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Swift development for iOS and macOS applications.
– Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
– Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Core Animation.
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS/macOS applications to back-end services.
– Knowledge of database management, preferably with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB).
– Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
– Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

The role involves working on safety-critical systems within our flight simulation hardware, requiring Ada/SPARK programming proficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with software engineers, contribute to the design and development of hardware components, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCBs for embedded systems.
- Develop low-level software and firmware for aviation hardware.
- Program safety-critical software using Ada and SPARK.
- Test and validate embedded systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
